  73.        just type INSTALL and press the ENTER key,
  74.        then type START or HTML to begin the program
  75.        from within the directory you chose to place the files.

  79. 4. INSTALLING AND RUNNING FROM WINDOWS 3.1
  80.    ---------------------------------------
  81.    >>> If you are installing this program from WINDOWS 3.1
  82.        simply double-click on the INSTALL.EXE file located in this
  83.        archive, or choose RUN from the Program Manager's FILE menu
  84.        and select INSTALL.EXE from the drive and directory where
  85.        this file is located.
  86.        The program itself runs in DOS, but will shell out appropriately,
  87.        install the program files where you want, and create an icon in
  88.        the Program Manager for you. Make sure you are using the native
  89.        Win 3.1 Program Manager as your shell, or the install utility
  90.        may not function properly.

  94. 5. INSTALLING THIS PROGRAM FROM WINDOWS '95
  95.    ----------------------------------------

  97.    >>> If you are installing this program from WINDOWS '95
  98.         -simply click on the INSTALL.EXE file located in this archive,
  99.         or choose RUN from the Start Menu and use the BROWSE button
  100.         to locate the INSTALL.EXE file.
  101.        The program itself runs in DOS, but will shell out appropriately,
  102.        install the program files where you want, and create an icon in
  103.        the Start Menu for you.

  105.        NOTE: when the program first installs and extracts the program
  106.        files, it will do so in a DOS window, and does not automatically
  107.        close.
  108.        This is the default for Win '95. Close it yourself when it
  109.        completes with the X in the upper right-hand corner of the
  110.        window. After that, the program will begin to run in another
  111.        DOS window. Enlarge the window, and use your down arrow to
  112.        choose EXIT THIS PROGRAM from the main menu.
  113.  
  114.        Then, once the icon is created in the Start Menu, click the
  115.        icon to highlight it, and edit the PROPERTIES. Doing this
  116.        procedure in Windows '95 will allow you to choose the program
  117.        from the Start Menu and have it shell out full-screen in DOS.

  121.                      To get to the icon's Properties:
  122.             Once the icon is colorized (selected), you can either
  123.              1. Hold down the ALT key and press the ENTER key
  124.              2. Hold down the ALT key and double-left-click with
  125.                    your mouse
  126.              3. Right-click and choose the last item, PROPERTIES.
  127.  
  128.                     Now, edit the properties as follows:
  129.              1. Click the PROGRAM tab, and at the bottom, select
  130.                 "CLOSE ON EXIT"  That way when you end the program,
  131.                 it will hop right back into Windows and close itself.
  132.              2. Select "MAXIMIZED" from the RUN selection box.
  133.              3. Now click the SCREEN tab, and select "FULL SCREEN"
  134.  
  135.               changing these minor elements in this program and in
  136.                 many others will simplify running under Win '95
  137.        [If you are using an alternate shell such as Norton Navigator,
  138.        Dashboard, or other replacement, the install program may not
  139.        work. In that event, revert to the native '95 shell and try again]

  204.      HTML,  but  there  is  plenty more  to  know.  We'll include all the
